When is the best time to go?
When it suits you best; weather and school holidays can influence the decision. We will advise you country by country.

Will K&K arrange air tickets?
Yes - ATOL-protected air tickets for a small charge. You are welcome to buy your own.

What about deposits ?
It depends on destination. Usually a 25 percent non-refundable deposit is required two months before departure.

What about malaria?
Best prevention is not getting bitten. We supply detailed health advice. Consult your doctor for more information.

How is the holiday protected?
Bookings are subject to adequate insurance cover. Non-deposit payments are parked in a client trust account until you return. Landing strips at bush camps have radio comms. and medical air evacuation facilities.

What age restrictions apply?
The criterion is fitness, not age. Sometimes we need a doctor’s letter. Children are actively welcomed at some camps, though not all.

Are K&K itineraries tailor-made?
Yes. You always get the opportunity to plan the details.

Do we need visas?
For some countries, yes. We have forms and will advise about applications and any restrictions.

Can we avoid London airports?
K&K clients often use Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

Will someone meet us the other end?
Nearly always. ‘Meet and greet’ is an important element of the K&K service for which a small fee is included in the overall holiday price.

Do itineraries change?
Occasionally – for different reasons: unexpected severe weather, flight schedules. To date we have always managed to re-book same value accommodation.
