“Kirsten and I would like to thank you for arranging the most fantastic honeymoon.  South Africa was wonderful and the combination of Makweti, Ngala and Hemingway House was perfect.  Makweti is beautiful and was the perfect place to unwind in comfort after the wedding.  We were the only guests [it was mid-winter] for the first couple of nights so it was even more perfect: very comfortable with lots of game.  Of the big five the only one we did not see at Makweti was leopard but we saw plenty of lion, baby rhino, elephant etc. 

“The book [K&K Safari Notes] you put together was a very nice surprise and certainly whetted our appetites before we got there. “The combination of one night in Ngala tented camp followed by a few nights walking safari was excellent.   Again we saw plenty of great game, including leopards and wild dogs.  And the experienceof walking on foot is unbeatable.

“I think that our favourite was the walking safari camp, wild but comfortable and yet if we had gone straight there from our wedding it would have a bit full-on, so Makweti worked extremely well.

“Thank you once again for putting together an itinerary that could not have been better selected, planned and executed.  We can’t wait to go back.”

“We’re back safe and sound and I wanted to drop you a line to say what a fabulous time we had and to commend you on the beauty of the places you organised.  They were perfect choices and although the last few days were of our own making, your recommendations really set the standard and were very impressive.  We had a very active time (as you probably would imagine) with whitewater rafting, horseback safari, hiking, biking, fly fishing, wine tours, dolphin and whale watching and even a hike up Table Mountain.  We had an excellent time at The Hide, which really knows its stuff and laid on an excellent show.  We did manage a couple of hours sunbathing on the most perfect beach in Hermanus but it was practically the only time we stopped.  Wonderful!!  “Many, many thanks for all your efforts that gave us a truly memorable and wonderful honeymoon - just when it really mattered.”

“It was Heaven, the organisation of this holiday razor sharp.  The food was amazing and the cabin - the cheapest group on the bottom deck – was luxurious, apart from the easy chairs. The kitchen, which we toured, was spotless, run like the Navy. The guide was excellent in every respect and all inclusive itinerary was very good and you would have a busy week doing them without having to buy any extras.”
